Inclusion & Belonging at Heidrick

Our Employee Resource Groups embody our people-first approach, giving employees communities to promote and celebrate affinity and allyship while providing the firm a window into what the groups represented need. Across DAWN, EDEN, PoC, Pride, WIN, Veterans@Heidrick, Belief Bridges, and AWIN, our ERGs offer educational programming and networking opportunities that engage and develop employees. Hear directly from our ERG members as they share their experiences, insights, and the impact these communities have had on their professional and personal growth.

Belonging is our ambition, and we treat it as something to be measured, not assumed. We listen through employee engagement surveys, translate what we hear into action, and hold ourselves to the same rigor on I&B outcomes that we bring to our client work. Our leaders are expected to model this: to navigate difference skillfully, mentor across lines that might otherwise divide, and treat inclusive leadership as a core competency, not a soft skill.

This is ongoing work, shaped by the people doing it. It shows in the partnerships we build with organizations who share this commitment, in the development we invest in our own people, and in the choice, made deliberately and often, to make room for more voices at the table. That choice is what turns inclusion from a value on a page into a way we operate.
